Participants at the Silicon Valley rally expressed deep anguish over reports of harassment of Hindus by hooligans during Diwali celebrations. “It was horrifying to witness Hindus being tormented by these thugs,” they said, adding that police appeared to side with Khalistan supporters, even beating Hindu devotees.

The protestors accused Canadian authorities of cloaking violence under the guise of freedom of expression. “We have completely lost faith in the Trudeau government’s commitment to protecting the basic human rights of Canadian Hindus,” they stated.
